my projects
in order of most recent ():- Harp Synth
- a new instrument built with music theory in mind! working on the hardware prototype now...
- Spectrogram Playground
- I've been getting really into the science of sound lately, especially with respect to timbre. did you know every instrument has a unique overtone fingerprint that makes it sound the way it does? encourage you to mess around in the app it is very fun (see presets at the top, or record your own audio)
- Beep App
- an app I created to aid in an experiment I'm doing. basically it sends notifications 3 times a day and prompts for two things: what were you thinking about and in what modality (e.g. internal monologue, visuals, etc). the goal is to understand the way I think better. it also serves as a unique journaling app of sorts. currently internal only (meaning only my girlfriend and I have access) but may look into expanding.
- TIL App
- an app I created to keep track of things I learn every day. just because I've graduated from school, doesn't mean I want to stop learning. I love to learn. see also my TIL series on my blog :)
- S.L.O.P.
- my masters capstone project, standing for Seamlessly aligning LLMs with Online user Preferences. click the link for more info, or check out the report
- Quip Among Us
- a Quiplash clone I created, with the twist that one of the players is an LLM. the goal is to be the funniest and also guess which answer is the LLM (and not be selected as the LLM answer)
- ACM Hack Curriculum Website
- I created a website to accompany the overhaul in curriculum I was proposing! genuinely very proud of this one
- ACM Hack Textbook
- not a coding project, but I decided at one point it would be cool to make a textbook so I did it. it's like 40 pages long but still happy with it
- Yodel
- my capstone project; a social music platform that connects people between Apple Music and Spotify and others, mainly wanted to make it because my girlfriend at the time was an Apple Music user and I was a Spotify user and neither of us had any intention of switching. I also think the idea of having playlists as content (beyond just the music within them) is a huge untapped idea. not all playlists need to be called "vibes" they can be interesting and unique too!
- rim
- hopped on the trend of recreating classic cli apps in rust. remade nano. you may be wondering why did he call it rim if he remade nano? because rano sounds stupid
- Dev Pathways
- ACM Teach LA Website
- ACM Hack Website
- Babble
- Showerly
- Robota Intervals
- Vizima News
- Rolling
